01-29-12 – Atlanta, GA>Nashville, TN – Tuatha Dea is seeking a rhythm/occasional lead guitarist who is comfortable with playing music to varying crowds, as well as occasionally playing other instruments (bass, djembe) as well.
We are an eclectic band, covering such styles as primal drumming, rock, celtic, folk, punk, and metal. We do not have a traditional kit drum backline, as all of the drumming is done on African and Latin American drums such as djembe, djuns, cajon, congas, bongos, etc. Up until St. Patrick’s Day, we are taking time off for writing and incorporating a new member, but after that time, we will be on the road touring constantly playing mostly festivals.
While we are looking for musical talent, it is most important that the person we put in this spot is able to fit in with the others in the band. We are a family and in that aspect we are not like many bands.
