Brooke’s life seems simple enough as she goes to school and works two jobs to support her unemployed husband and her baby child. She is supported by her love of her family through her time of struggle. Her family looks at her with respect and motivates her to excel in life. As a responsible individual Brooke motivates her husband to take out a life insurance policy on both of their behalf out of love for her child. Xavier plays the role of Brooke’s Husband. His addiction to money and his debt to the Mafia Mob push him to do the unthinkable. Ironically, Xavier’s conspiracy to collect the money on Brooke’s insurance policy backfires and leads to his death and becomes the catalyst for Brooke’s ultimate demise. Brooke find herself entrapped into a world of fear, steal walls and bared doors as she is convicted for the murder of her husband. Now book sense no longer applies, to survive Brooke must embrace a whole other character, she must transform into another Brooke.
