09-15-11 – Detroit, MI>Chicago, IL – We are an established Funk / Blues band in the Greater Lansing area. We are in need of a new Bass player, Guitar Player and we are open to a nice horn section as well. We have played at different locations and events in the Lansing and Old town community and are well known and respected in the area so, professionalism is a must!!!! The attitude of the band is of a relatively sassy, sexy, funky, sultry, and cool nature. We play covers (in our own style) and write originals as well so competency is key. ****WE ARE NOT A BAR BAND*****, While we do play at bars every now and then, this band is striving to reach a different level and demographic of people (in other-words, bars DON’T PAY – EVENTS DO). This band is high energy and entertaining. Musicians who sing background vocals are preferred. HIGH PREFERENCE for all men (as I am a woman and clash a lot with women) but females welcome to apply as well.
