02-28-11 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – Filming a short dark drama/thriller about a woman in her 60′s who becomes strangely obsessed with her younger roommate and develops a motherly fixation on her.
Currently looking for a lead actress in her late 50′s to early 60′s who is capable of shaping a subtly creepy performance which will haunt and disturb the audience.
We will be shooting in the South Suburbs around Chicago on the weekend of March 25th, 26th, and 27th. Although this is not a paid job, you will receive transportation fees/gas money for your commute if needed, and food will be provided on set for all three days. Furthermore, you will receive a free cut demo reel from our editor, including this film and any others you choose to provide. There will be also be a deferral agreement signed should the film make money through festivals and/or receive some kind of distribution.
Although this is a short film, all of us on board have great aspirations for the project and the finished film will be submitted to a number of film festivals including, ShockFest, South by Southwest Film Fest, Fantastic Fest, Ann Arbor Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and Chicago International Film Festival, amoung others.
