05-29-11 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – I am looking to start or join a band.
I need a guitar player or two, drums, vocals. The genre i’m looking for includes but is not limited to rock, pop rock, alternative, indie rock, hard rock, singer songwriter . Not intersted in metal at this time.
I have several songs written, but not set in stone, on guitar, and on bass.
I would like to use some/all of these songs and i am open to writing new stuff and using your music as well. I am located in Crestwood but am willing to travel to jam with the right people. I am 31, have a day job, a family, and i’m looking for people in a similar situation.
Musicians that are motivated but understand that we do have resposibilties.
Please, no heavy drug users, alcoholics, or nut cases. I would like to jam at least one day a week, prefer weekends, but when the time comes for shows add another day to make sure things are tight. I do have pro gear, consider myself a talented musician, and would prefer the same.
I have played the chicago scene for about 15 years, would like to continue to play shows, and have fun. I’m not planning on “making it” with this project but if it goes that way then great. Here is a link to some of my much older band/solo stuff.
Everyone on my top friends list is a project that i was involved with at sometime or another.
