01-17-11 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – Lead/Rhythm Guitar/Bass Player Needed.
I am a female singer/songwriter currently looking for a “backing band” of sorts to play shows with me. I will still be doing solo/acoustic shows now and then, but really would love to be a part of a full band with some other passionate musicians. I do play out quite often in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and even Wisconsin. I am signed to a Tennessee indie label and will be going on a solo tour with them beginning in April.
The style is mostly “indie-pop”. I know it’s cliche to say you don’t like labeling yourself, but I do try to throw a little bit of everything into the mix.
Right now, I’m looking for a drummer, bassist, guitar (lead & rhythm) and possibly keyboard. I do play guitar, but if we can work it out so there is another rhythm guitarist AND lead guitarists, I’ll probably drop it (at least for a few songs).
