01-31-12 – Cleveland, OH>Detroit, MI – SonRise is looking for an experienced electric bass player who can play contemporary Christian music styles that you hear on The Fish. We lead worship at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church [5930 State Rd. in Parma] every Sunday morning at 11:25am and rehearse every Friday evening at 7pm (practice times are subject to change).
Since we are leaders of worship, you must be a believer in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. We do not expect perfection, as we are all working on our faith journey, but you will be held to a higher standard. Audition required.
This is a volunteer position. We have fun together and yet are committed to musical quality. We strive to keep worship holy, while not being afraid to rock for Jesus.
