03-20-11 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – Seeking a rock singer between 25 – 55 (m or f) looking to have fun playing in a cover band (NO originals)? If you’re laid back, open minded and consider music a hobby plus enjoy all eras of “hard” rock music we want to talk to you! We are in our late 30′s (wives, houses, day jobs, kids, etc) who have been in gigging bands but got out of the scene for a few years. This project is still new and we have about 12 songs so far, so if you’re looking for a working band this is NOT for you, but if you want to help build this band we’re on the same page. Our goal is to gig 1 or 2 nights per month and practice is once a week. Fun is our goal, no ego’s and everyone is pretty laid back. We’re pretty open so if your a 7, but working your way back up to an 8 or 9 thats cool with us. We have practice space (we’d be willing to practice in your space too), PA and gear as well as past experience. Bands we’re covering include Alice In Chains, Bush, 7 Mary 3, STP, Social Distortion, Green Day, Ted Nugent, Poison and Beastie Boys.
