11-07-11 – Phoenix, AZ>Las Vegas, NV – We are a guitarist and bassist seeking a drummer to complete a power trio. our sound is similiar to the hard rock n roll sounds of the 1960′s and early 1970′s electrified blues bands such as Cream, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, and early Fleetwood Mac.
we are both 20, and the bassist can play like jack bruce, and the guitarist can play like cream-era clapton, peter green and jimmy page. we are both old school to the bone, and are seeking a drummer who is the same. we aren’t into metal or contemporary rock/pop music. we both are heavily influenced by the blues.
some modern broad examples of what kind of revived style we are looking for is: wolfmother, white stripes, and the black keys, but with better jams and better all around instrumental talent, which is what we have, we just need a drummer who can play well and likes the same type of music.
