03-02-12 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – Hello out there. I’m looking for folks who want to sing harmonies & lead. Folks who play more than one instrument – at least one very well. I play rhythm guitar and harmonica. I would like to play with like minded musicians who like the style of the Van Morrison, Byrds, Lovin’ Spoonful, the Band, the Sub Dudes, Ry Cooder, the Iguanas, you know where this is going … soulful roots-blues, americana/folk, pop jazz … looking for acoustic-electric lead guitar, mandolin, fiddle, dobro, banjo, pedal steel, whatever we can put together…some covers but mainly originals …. great if you’re a singer/songwriter looking to collaborate….most importantly, got to have those two and three part harmonies.
I’m looking for a collaborative effort to play out 1-2 times a month small but fun venues for art and money. Art mostly. Will be playing early March with bass/piano partner at a cafe – come out and say hi – contact me if you want more info.
