03-02-12 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – Looking for country band members. Style I’m after is diverse under the canopy of country. Some songs are modeled after Hank Williams 3 others Gillian Welch and others a more bluegrass/old time feel. We will be playing my songs and any of yours that fit what we are trying to accomplish. I will be recording my album before June and am looking to play shows as soon as possible once we are tight. will also be posting samples on sound cloud however I want a full sound before I post and need you to contribute. Need Country style drummer ( not every song will require drums ).
That is alot of musicians but do not need everyone to start. I am also aware this is not the south or the east. But I know full well there is a ton of bluegrass / country musicians in the area. Ive seen you all at different jams and the topanga banjo fiddle contest which is coming up. Hope you reply and happy picking.
