05-20-11 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – Murrieta-based jazz/jazz fusion band seeking pro-caliber keyboard player. We are playing some really interesting and fun stuff. Not just the same old jazz standards. Chick Corea, Weather Report, Steely Dan, etc. and some serious improvisation on the standards. We are just forming and we currently have bass, drums, guitar, and sax. Looking for someone with a strong knowledge of jazz chord progressions. Ability to read is a big plus. Must be able to play different styles like jazz, funk, latin, and rock with appropriate sounds.
