Looking for an accomplished singing guitar player with good playing range who’s ready to play in an all original band. I have 2 CD’s of music, currently working on a 3rd. The style is Folk/Rock. There’s around 22 songs to play live in the catalog, with more on the way.We already have a well rehearsed bass player and drummer providing a tight bottom with great dynamics. If you’re the right player, you’ll enjoy dropping into a fun pocket. Only looking for a guitarist that can easily sing harmonies.
This music has the feel of the later Beatles, but with a more modern approach. I need an experienced guitarist who has definite finesse and can really lock in grooves. I personally play acoustic and electric guitar and need another player who can be occasionally switching off, also playing acoustic rhythm, in addition to electric lead. Improvised jamming ability is a real plus as we sometimes jam one song into another in our live shows.
I’m looking for a player that can play with appropriate dynamics and really create groove distinctions in the various components of the song: intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, outro, etc. The present recording project is Folk and Rock songs about ancient Egypt.
Really looking for someone who loves to play, sing and rehearse until we’re really all in that same pocket. And looking for a person that’s ready to play catchy all original music that has tons of radio appeal. 1 – 2 rehearsals a week. No beginners. We’re already playing out occasionally locally, expanding to larger venues, festivals and to play radio and TV gigs. In addition to playing with the band, I’m open to doing acoustic duos as well.
