01-15-11 – Philadelphia, PA>New York City, NY – We are a cover band currently comprised of bass, drums and female vocals. The idea behind the band is simple: take songs we like playing, think people will enjoy drinking and dancing to, add our own twist, play gigs, and rock out. Our style ranges from hard rock to 12-bar blues to R&B. We are looking for a guitarist who:
1. Has experience giging and playing 3+ sets in a bar band;
2. Can communicate musically;
3. Can contribute ideas regarding song choices, arrangements, ect;
4. Understands that there are three other musicians on the stage, and is willing to share it with them;
5. Possess at least some basic knowledge of music theory;
6. Is drug and drama free; and
7. Can show up to rehearsal on time and prepared;
8. Can do all of the above, and still have fun playing music.
We ARE NOT looking for someone to come in and do their best SRV, Hendrix, Jimmy Page, ect, impersonation(s), nor are we looking for someone to play covers note for note.
