04-21-11 – New York City, NY>Hartford, CT – We are a Guitarist and Bass Player, and we are looking for a solid drummer. We are forming this band from scratch, so we don’t have established songs yet, just ideas.
We aren’t looking to play covers and we aren’t looking to start a tribute band. Our eventual set will contain a cover or 2, but we want to focus on good/ solid writing.
We have known each other since grade school and are familiar with each others writing and playing skills. Don’t feel that you have to be a seasoned pro, but good chops and a great timing is a must, and a cool attitude is always great lol.
We do have a beer or 2 at practice, but we don’t want anyone with drug or distracting personal problems, we have had our share of dealing with people like that. If you are looking to join a band to get away from the wife and kids for a couple of days durring the week, then please don’t respond to this ad, this is only for people that love to play.
We write originals with solid riffs ( we love riffs ), solid melodies and harmonies. Eventually we would be looking for either a vocalist or another guitarist, but right now, just trying to sure up our rhythm section. . We miss playing on stage, and really look forward to getting back there in the future.
Please be between the ages of 25-42, and please have your own transportation and your own drums.
