our trio is looking for another player. We play classic rock mostly, covers and originals (we’re working in more originals as we go). We’d like to record a demo, and play some gigs soon. We’re looking for someone who can enhance our sound (not someone to take the wheel). We’re a singer/gtr (me), drummer, and bassist, and we’d like keys and/or a second guitarist that plays a lot of slide and wah. Either way, someone who can play some leads would help. Backing vocals is a plus, so is songwriting. If we like hanging out and playing music together, that’s the most important.
I’m the youngest at 31, we all have families and responsibilities, but I take this seriously while having fun doing it. We practice twice a week and play songs by The Black Crowes, Stones, Beatles, Zep, GNR, White Stripes, Deep Purple, Ozzy, and others, as well as mine.
Our experience varies, but we’ve all been in bands before, so we’re not looking for a beginner.
We’re basically smart, friendly and responsible people, and we’re looking for the same. We’re four-twenty and beer friendly, but don’t want anyone who can’t handle themselves or makes excuses for their behavior. We want someone we can count on.
