08-02-11 – Phoenix, AZ>Las Vegas, NV – ARE THERE NO SEASONED MUSICIANS WANTING TO GET WITH A GREAT BAND????? DEDICATION A MUST!!!! LOOKING TO AUDITION! WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SEVERAL WEEKS!

Well established working Country & 50′s/60′s Rock & Roll Band needs 2nd guitar Player. (If you cannot do this, PLEASE don’t waste our time or yours) NO BARS! We perform mostly at RV Resorts, Private Parties, Country Clubs, etc. We ARE a fun-loving band who take our practices seriously as well as our performances but enjoy what we do! Extreme TALENT in this BAND! Everyone sings. We perform all across Phoenix and all over the state when the need arises. Please don’t allow DISTANCE to be a speed bump as our bass player drives two hours to get here and practice or perform. Our Second Lead player’s job is taking him away from us.

You MUST be a TEAM PLAYER; know music; must be able to accept constructive criticism without the attitude; quick learner as we have a video shoot which wll include country & 50′s/60′s rock & roll on Sep 24, 2011; enjoy performing; must be willing to practice (sometimes our practices go 4-6 hours); be a dedicated band member (NO DOUBLE DIPPING); willing to dress alike (we have shirts); AND HAVE FUN!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

YOU MUST:

1) Our ideal candidate will have grown up with 50′s/60′s and possess a real love for that genre of music.
2) What we mean by 50′s/60′s music is not what is considered “classic rock” or what you might hear played on KSLX/100.7FM, but more likely on KAZG/1440AM, shall we say Doo-Wop, Girl Groups, Connie Francis, Beach Boys, etc., pre-Beatles.
3) Our Country list includes traditional & newer country songs — our followers love to dance to C&W 2-steps, line dances, etc.
4) You MUST have a strong command of your instrument.
5) You MUST have a strong lead voice and possess a solid concept of harmony stacking based upon a keen ear for parts.
6) Your song repetoire MUST be concurrent with your love of the genre. In other words you should know a ton of tunes and well.
7) Our arrangements are as close to original as possible,(chord progressions, hook lines, leads, etc.) given whatever instrumentation limitations we may have, not just thrown together good enough to be barely recognizable.
