02-18-12 – Phoenix, AZ>El Paso, TX – Based on Charles Schulz’s timeless cartoon characters, this revised production of Clark Gesner’s lighthearted musical has new dialogue by Michael Mayer and additional songs by Andrew Lippa, all with the warmth and sincerity of the original 1967 show. From a bright morning to a hopeful starlit evening, vignettes on such childhood touchstones as Valentine’s Day and kite-flying are featured.
Songs include “Suppertime,” “Happiness,” “The Doctor is In,” “My New Philosophy,” “Beethoven Day,” “The Book Report,” “TEAM – Baseball Game,” and “My Blanket and Me.”
