08-07-11 – Seattle, WA>Portland, OR – Original hard rock/melodic/classic metal band in Everett looking for a new bassist.
We are three guys, aged 37-46, creating a varied format of original music. Collaborative atmosphere.
This person would be mature, no ego, able to play for the song, provide support to the other players by remembering your part from one week to the next, creative, willing to take some direction, yet willing to contribute, positive attitude, willing to commit to band, punctual,…..you know a stand up guy, who says what he means and does what he says. Someone who is at least competent on his instrument and wouldn’t mind growing into semi-pro or pro level. (We are not pros). Be easy going and energetic, be cool with no major hangups. It would be best if you really love the heavy stuff as well as the not so heavy.
We have an awesome singer, good guitarist, new drummer. Got a good practice pad. Goals are to record and perform really good, vocal centric, original hard rock. If you’re looking to make money gigging, keep looking. That’s not why we’re here. Style hopefully resembles something like BLS meets AIC with some STP and Cornell thrown in.
