04-21-11 – Seattle, WA>Portland, OR – Hey, we’re a jazz trio and we’re looking for a talented lead player to fill out the sound. We’re hoping to gig in the near future after we’ve got some tunes down, currently we are a bassist (upright and electric) guitarist, and a drummer. We’re definitely a jazz group but not in the most purist traditional sense, hoping to mix in some groovy stuff and original compositions, lots of influence from funk, fusion, and postmodern jazz artists like the Bad Plus or Medeski, Martin, and Wood as well.
Need some talent and improvisational ability, you’re going to be lead voice in a quartet. Also looking for tastefulness.
