11-26-11 – San Francisco, CA>Reno, NV – ZOOM Newspaper is seeking THREE FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHERS
Are you an amateur photographer interested in photographing hundreds of local people attending events?
Imagine gaining VIP access to all the events in Folsom and El Dorado Hills area, from sporting events to Black Tie Gala’s, and everything in between.
Our photographers shoot all the fun and exciting events in town. If chosen, as a freelance photographer, your photo will appear in the local paper each month you contribute to the photographic content.
ZOOM is a new newspaper that supports local business, highlights events and showcases the small things that make our community great.
Job requirements:
•Willingness to have a lot of fun attending local events
•Professional dress and demeanor
•Assertive, friendly, energetic interpersonal skills
•Experience shooting families, children, and groups of people at parties
•A flexible work schedule able to work weekdays, evenings and weekends
Reliable transportation with auto insurance
•Reliable, confident and experienced.
•Detail oriented and great with spelling names correctly
•Wear company logo
•Post-process photographs and upload to our server within 24 hours after the event
•Ability to deliver quality images that capture the spirit of the event
Equipment requirements:
•Digital Camera that shoots high-resolution photography
•Computer to download event photos and upload to ZOOM servers
References, Compensation and Other:
•Two personal or professional references are required
•A background check will be performed
•Applicants must be willing to start immediately
•Compensation will be based on fee for services rendered. May be open to trade services for advertising in the publication.
