12-23-11 – Reno, NV>San Francisco, CA – I’m looking for an assistant photographer to help with a significant increase in clients. This is a boutique boudoir studio producing high quality work and a luxury experience for the client. This is pin-up, glamour and boudoir photography for real women, including wives, brides-to-be, engagements, Christmas and Valentine’s gifts, promotional and modeling portfolios, etc.
Qualifications:
1. Photoshop exp. a must
2. Ability to airbrush portraits highly desired but not required
3. Lightroom exp. a HUGE plus (but I can also teach this easily)
4. Portfolio Required – portraits
5. Must have your own camera equipment (professional camera, lenses, memory cards, etc.) — studio lighting is provided
Job:
After training you will be responsible for shooting boudoir sessions (1-2 hours in length) by yourself in my custom studio, then you follow through on each client you photograph by editing your own images (using photoshop and lightroom) and uploading the proofs from the session into a web gallery.
35% photographing clients at my studio
50% editing photos in lightroom/photoshop (at your home if you have the software OR at my office)
15% administrative, emails, minimal paperwork but still it has to be done 
(I take care of all customer service, sales, product ordering, etc.) I will train you on how to use studio lighting (assuming you already know basic lighting concepts), how to use Lightroom and Photoshop for processing photos, etc. Hours are flexible, photography sessions will be scheduled based on your availability. This position will go to someone who is responsible enough to work independently and produce quality work.
Position starts Feb. 2012. About 4 -6 hours of paid work per client photographed. Expect about 2 – 4 clients per month. Tell me about yourself and why you want this job.
