09-14-11 – San Francisco, CA>Reno, NV – We are Singer, Drums, and Bass looking for a full-time, permanent rhythm/lead guitarist ASAP!. We’re a rock & roll cover band who play tunes from the last several decades. We’re looking for someone who has great stage presence, gig-ready gear, reliable transportation, a knack for learning songs quickly, and the ability to sing backup/harmony vocals. Some of our songs have minor keyboard parts, so if you can hold down a couple keys in a song or two, that would be a huge plus.
We range in age from 37 to 44, and we’re looking for someone with a positive, professional attitude to complement the image and vibe of the band. We all have jobs, wives, mortgages, kids, girlfriends, etc. that take priority in our lives, but we like to practice at least once a week and gig every other weekend (2-3 times per month). We have members from Yuba City and Sacramento and we practice near Hwy 99, between Yuba City and Sacramento.
We’ve had good success in the past with this band, but know this is not a primary means of income. If you’re looking to be a part of a solid, top-notch band to satisfy your musical creativity and show off a little in the local clubs every other weekend, then get back to us.
