02-14-12 – San Francisco, CA>Reno, NV – New project seeking like minded, talented bassist. We are seasoned musicians with tons of prior band experience.
Our first priority is making GREAT material that’s not isolated to a particular genre. We know what musical ideas and sounds we enjoy and simply wish to express those ideas as best we can.
Influences include: Tool, AIC, Deftones, APC, Sevendust, Floyd, Zeppelin, Pigmy Love Circus, etc. We gravitate towards music with gritty tones, an emphasis on rhythms over virtuosic solos, and occasional odd time signatures that still make you want to bang your head.
No screamo, hardcore, death metal, or pop indie rock.
YOU:
Reliable, between 21 and 40, non egotistical, transportation, able to attend practice sessions 1-2 times a week (Wednesday and Sunday nights for now). It is important that ALL of us click not only as musicians but as people since we like to hang out outside of the band as well.
Previous band experience is a plus as we are looking for a bassist that can sit in the pocket well with our drummer, not just a guitarist with a bass in his hand.
