03-25-12 – Seattle, WA – Like many folks, a guitarist friend and I both put music on the back burner for many years to raise kids and make a living. We are fortunate enough to have the time, and the means to allow us to devote time and energy to our music without having the pressure of “making it pay the rent”. Our goals are to grow as musicians, have a good time playing together and create opportunities for great creative sessions. We connected with and are now playing with a bassist and second guitarist who have similar goals and interests. We are now looking for a keyboard player. We are open to all sorts of music but we definitely have interests in classic soul (love that B3 sound), Jack Johnson type stuff as well as some old school blues and B-side type cool rock tunes. The only thing we ask is that fellow musicians leave drama, substance abuse issues, and strong egos at the door. We have a great rehearsal space and like to get together as often as possible.
Interested? Then please, reflect on your goals…and if they are in alignment with our goals, please drop me an email.
