Hair Metal Band Seeking Vocalist-Fresno – 1147533

02-07-12 – San Francisco, CA>Reno, NV – Any vocalists or guitarists out there want to form a hair metal band? it would mainly be something just for fun but also to take serious with and play shows everywhere we can and just see were it leads.

This wouldnt be the only thing i have going on though so we would basically practice once a week sometimes maybe more.

Im looking for people between the ages of 17-26 that have the hair metal look and sound or that would be willing to have the look.

I want to have the sound similar to like the Scorpions, Crashdiet, Guns N Roses, Twisted Sister, Guns, Skid Row ect.

We also would be interested in having a chick singer for our band that sounds similar to Doro Pesch from Warlock,Vixen, Lita Ford or Joan Jett

I’m not really looking to run the group so much, as I’m looking to make it as democratic as possible. I’m open to playing multiple genres of music, but, would prefer to play folk/americana. 01-18-12 – Los Angeles, CA>San Francisco, CA – We are looking for bassist. Many years of experience under the members we already have. If you can sing lead or harmony, it’s a plus. We have one harmony singer, but need another one to get the rich harmonies needed for our style. The members are highly respected musicians from other local bands/musicians. Age is no issue. Must be familiar with most common blues, rock, and country beats/bass lines. We will be traveling, at least around California, but will also be doing local shows around the central valley as well. Gigs will start in a couple months. Also no ego, drug, or drinking problems, please. I understand some people smoke and have a couple beers every now and then, and that is fine. Just don’t wanna be performing with a drunk or high member. Must be professional and willing to commit and make it to practices on time(will be practicing at least 2 times a week). Also must be able to learn songs fast and show up prepared for practice(including knowing the songs we are going to go over).
