12-20-11 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – We’re a bunch of 9 to 5er’s that woke up one day and realized we gave up rocking out years ago but couldn’t figure out why. So, we started this band because we wanted to live out that side of our personalities and have some outlet outside of the grind. We’re not overly serious about it….by no means is it full time and we’re nothing to write Rolling Stone about. We’re a ridiculous cover band that people seem to enjoy because we play a random assortment of tunes, get drunk on stage, connect with the crowd, and just have a good ol’ time.
We practice, on average, once per week and do a gig about every 30 days, give or take. We put this band together almost 2 years ago and have some surprisingly good momentum resulting in us playing some pretty legit places….some we don’t really deserve to but, hey, that’s their mistake. So, we’re looking to keep it going but need to find the right bassist that we not only jive well with musically but fits well with the personalities of the group. We range in age from 28 to 33, are all college educated, business-minded guys that like to have a good time, from Chicago originally, etc, and do this on the side but love the shit out of it.
Our song list is all over the board. 3 out of 4 are covers, some of which we mess with and put our own twist to, and then we have some originals that are pretty humorous….usually with a funky or rock’n'roll jam feel to them.
