01-21-12 – Philadelphia, PA>New York City, NY – Putting together a covers band for gigs. Right now we have 2 guitars and bass and we need a drummer. All members have had experience in the local music scene playing covers and originals and we all have day jobs.
We are looking to put together a decent bar band playing mostly “roots” or Americana music. This includes rock, R & B, country, blues, and other styles. We do not want to be a jukebox; we want to be able to put our own spin on the cover tunes. Hopefully we can also start sneaking in originals as well.
It is important to know that we want to have fun doing this. This does not mean that we do not put the time in to put together a decent set, we do put the time in at rehearsal.
We are also renting a rehearsal space, so please do not waste our time or yours.

09-10-11 – Honolulu, HI – Hi, i’m Dylan Cavataio, maker of the Post-Hardcore/Electronica band, About Last Autumn. We are currently searching for a skilled bass player with equipment suitable for playing shows. That means either a bass half stack or full stack. I have ties to DJQ Management. I have been working with the owner for a few years now. All we need is fully recorded intro and a 1st song. Then we are managed. I already have them written so all you need to do is write bass pieces or I will do it. Doesn’t matter. I do write everything so far but if you every want to write your own pieces go ahead, its your position not mine. Also I have a way to record. Professional recordings, its a real studio. No crappy programs. Professional pre production recordings. I also have ties to Tragic Hero Records through friends of mine that are signed. All we need is a fully recorded ep. If you don’t already know, an ep is either a intro and 4 songs or 5 songs. My positions are guitar, music and electronica programming, and clean vocals. I sing on the exact octave as the singer from The Devil Wears Prada. I also record my singing with the same effects so we do sound similar accept I do a lot more with my voice when I sing. I have had lessons. Our screamer, Tyler, bases his screams off of Suicide Silence. He has the same range and distortion.
