I am in the early stages of starting my project. I’ve already been working with a couple producers to put out a pretty legit EP here soon. To first narrow down the people considering this….my influences are pop rock such as (The Cab, The Maine, A Rocket To The Moon), electric pop (Breathe Electric), and other such pop/soul as Maroon 5, Bruno Mars. I love other artists such as Woe Is Me, Sleeping With Sirens, Jonny Craig, which you may not hear in my music, but as far as vocal style goes, its apparent. So saying this, all the bros should be gone. I hate all the trashy music i’ve been seeing in DFW, i know there’s gotta be good up to date musicians out there but then again this is . no thrash punk nonsense, no bro (nickelback and company), if you wear affliction shirts, get out. haha. sorry i just moved here from Colorado so i dont know many people and so I have to resort to to see what I can extract. of course most brilliant guitarists of my standard are already in a decent band, but i’m giving it a chance that maybe one just moved here or broke up with their band. With all that being said (im sure i offended some ppl, but thats good i offended the ppl i dont want). when it comes to gear, don’t respond if you’re using a big ol ugly pod pedalboard, more than one boss pedal, or have a bunch of distortion pedals. you should have a beautiful arrangement of quality pedals. so thats should narrow it down to the guitarists that are tone conscious. great! if you’ve made it this far and are saying to yourself “preach it brotha” then here’s where it gets good.
I’m paying for the whole EP production, so you don’t even have to drop a penny for that. However, my co-writing producer and I are writing and recording everything on the EP. But this is something that is essential to jumpstart the project. So i’m looking for someone that wants to learn the parts and become a member when I’m ready to launch the project which will be very soon hopefully. of course you’d be apart of the writing/recording process for any future songs and material. Another benefit is I already have some sick LED programmable lights that will be apart of our live show synced to backing tracks and everything! anyways this project has a lot of prospects for it, but for now the reason I’m only looking for a guitarist right now is i’d like to just be able to get comfortable and maybe go play some open mics to begin networking and whatnot ya know starting under the radar before I release the EP. obviously once the EP is released, Im gonna hit it hard on online promotion/networking. Trust me this’ll be legit. But i’d like to pick up my first member to get involved before the launching.
