09-22-11 – New York City, NY>Philadelphia, PA – We are a singer, guitar player, and drummer seeking a bass player in the North/Central NJ area. We play a mix of aggressive, screaming, modern-sounding metal with solos, interesting rhythms, some melodic choruses and some light parts to change it up. We play music in the style of: As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, Unearth, Killswitch Engage and Chimairia.
We’ve been together as a band for 6 years with some recent member changes. We are 26-31 years old, so that means we are looking for someone near that age (25-35). We aren’t “looking to make it big,” but we are very familiar with the NJ metal scene. Our goal is to make recordings, play some shows, write music, and have a good time. We all have professional day jobs that we are happy with, and this is our way to become better musicians and have fun in our spare time. We are looking for someone who is responsible and fun; someone to play music with and have a good time. Practice once per week; play a show once a month or so.
We are in the process of recording some of our songs and just finished a new recording. It is pretty representative of the sound that we are currently going for.
