GENE KRUPA: MALE; 20’s to 30’s; A smooth talking, arrogant drummer whose suave with the ladies and more than confident in his talent.
BENNY GOODMAN: MALE; 30’s.;An individual who grows frustrated as he becomes overshadowed and begins to lose the spotlight in his own band. He is bitter, jealous, but kind at the core.
MEZZ MEZZAROW: MALE; 30’s;. A swinging jazz player, with a playful demeanor.
JOHN HAMMOND: MALE: 20’s to 30’s; The band’s producer. He loves the band and goes out of his way to get them all the shows they can handle.
YOUNG GENE: MALE; 8-18; A younger version of Gene. A spunky and outgoing child.
PETE KRUPA: MALE; 20-25; Gene’s older brother. Laid back; Works at a music store.
RUSS COLOMBO: MALE; Mid-20’s: Band conductor. Very thin patience. Very demanding.
RED NICOLES: MALE; Mid-20’s Band member; Enjoys playing the music; Follows directions well; doesn’t have time for Gene’s shenanigans.
BAND MEMBER: MALE; 20’s to 30’s; African American.
FAN GIRL: FEMALE; 15 to 25’s; An animated little flirt who gawks after Gene and his fame.
