12-11-10 – New York City, NY>Hartford, CT – We are looking for Rock Guitarist for Girl fronted rock band – must be versatile & experienced. Vocals a plus. Have lead vocalist, guitar, bass, drums, PA & rehearsal space. Looking to gig several times a month, ready in Dec. Influences Avril, Miley, Ashlee, Taylor Swift, Spill Canvas, Zombies, Demi Lovato, Mandy Moore & some originals. Music ranges from semi acoustic to rock.

We started this band a month or so ago and did a few home demos. we’re looking to be out gigging in a few months but no more than 2 or so gigs a month, no late nights. The goal is to do mostly daytime /early evening gigs like BBQ’s, block parties, town festivals etc. We do a variety of covers from classic rock to contemporary. We have a female lead vocalist (22), a 2nd backup vocalist (48) a drummer (~45 uses Roland V-drums) and I (56) can bass or guitar . I play bass as well as acoustic & electric guitar and have played from solo, duo up to 6 pieces. We have a small but adequete PA for vocals and a place to rehearse in Shirley.We all have varied stage experience. — Project Type: 1
