02-29-12 – San Diego, CA>Los Angeles, CA – We have 2 guitarists and a drummer. We would like someone around 16-22ish. We need a bassist who will play simple bass lines. I have most of the bass lines written already so it’s really simple to be a bassist in this band. I wouldn’t mind you expanding on these bass lines though. Contact me if you wanna play good music. 02-21-12 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – We’re Casanova & Troubadour, a local Portland band that is still in its early stages and we’re looking for a creative and dynamic drummer to join our group! Currently, our lineup consists of two guitarists (one of them sings as well), and a bassist so a drummer is needed to complete the sound! We all have been playing music for many years, although only together for about 5 months, and have gone through many musical phases, which is why our sound contains unique textures and a variety of influences. These influences include but are not limited to: Grizzly Bear, Arctic Monkeys, Gypsy Jazz, The Strokes, Radiohead, all of Jack White’s bands, EARLY King’s of Leon, Wavves, Hendrix, ect. Since we are still in the early stages we are excited to see what you bring to the sound and how you shape it. Already we have about 12 original songs, most of them are completed but still need additional lyrics so once we find you we already have lots of work to do yet are close to being show-ready, which is of course our ultimate goal; shows and tours!
We (both guitarists) currently live in NE Portland and have a nice basement that we sound-proofed and converted into a practice space complete with a bar! We have lots of equipment although we are lacking a drum set which is a must-have. Dedicated drummers are preferable because flaky musicians suck.
