I want to start a noise/noise rock/experimental/avant garde/rock and roll band. I want the majority of the songs to feature fast paced guitar and/or bass along with drums, while 1 or more other members run loops, samples, or layer on other sounds with conventional instruments. The key here would be to both create a unique noise sound, while keeping it rocky and danceable. I want there to be different levels to enjoy the music.

The more instruments you play the better. I’m just getting started on drums right now, but I finally have a kit at my house to practice on, so I should be improving rapidly. I already play guitar and bass, and would like to see members of this project jump from instrument to instrument between, or even during songs.

Let me know if any of this interests you. My other band only practices twice a week, so I’ve got plenty of time for one-off jams!

10-21-11 – New York City, NY>Philadelphia, PA – The Chashama Film Festival is now holding auditions for a Master of Ceremonies to host our event.

We are seeking an outgoing, friendly and funny individual who will be available from November 10 through November 13.

If you have a good character with costume, it is encouraged to bring it. (not necessary but acceptable: We accept all kinds of personalities; normal people, avant Garde, burlesque, circus performer, animals, strippers, zombies, Aliens, if you got it, let us see it!!!!. ) If there are different personalities you have we wouldn’t mind a different one each day.

The gig will consist of introducing movies, directors, interviewing people.

08-12-11 – New York City, NY>Philadelphia, PA – Hey All!

I’m looking for a hair model to compete in an international competition the weekend of September 18th in LA. You MUST be open to a very specific avant garde cut and color. My model shaved her head a couple days after we shot (!!!) and so I’m on the hunt to replace her. The two parts of the competition are taking place at The Vidal Sassoon Institute in Santa Monica and The Paladium in Hollywood. Model experience is helpful but not necessarily required. (please note, there is a catwalk portion to this event) If I advance to the global portion of this event you would need to be available the weekend of October 29-30. It’s EXTREMELY important that you can commit to BOTH dates. I have to use the same model or I will be disqualified. ::sigh:: Oh, rules.

About you: Ideally you would be 5’8″ or taller, have finer/average texture hair, stronger bone structure, dominant personality on the runway, and Fun! Expenses will be taken care of.
