02-15-12 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – We are looking for a non-metal guitarist to round out our lineup. We’d like to be basically a rock band that can jump back and forth amongst styles. If we’re in the mood to do something fast and heavy, great, funky, reggae, jazzy, bluesy, excellent. That said, none of us are into country, sorry.

We have a practice space as well as a place to record, all in Lowell. We are drums, vocals and bass.

Ideal candidate would have his/her own professional gear, reliable means of transportation for practices and shows. We get together at least once a week. Songwriting and ability to improvise is necessary. Vocals are a plus, but not required. Experience would be nice, but it comes down to talent, having an ear and the ability to show up. We’re a tight-knit group, and it helps.

A little bit about us, the 3 of us were in a metal band called Disorder by Design. We’re not looking to relive the past, and are very interested in writing new material as a new and separate band. That’s part of the emphasis on a non-metal guitarist. We feel with the right person, we can all move fully beyond being pigeon-holed into one restrictive genre.
