We are Those Lying Eyes out of the Ft Worth Area and we need a good drummer who is good with just basic stuff, who is willing to audition and is good for crazy live show and fits with our personalities and music. We are a very 80′s sounding Goth/industrial kinda sound and we are influenced by stuff like Voltaire and Bahaus. We would like to start doing live performances soon and we need a drummer to begin these. Hey there,
I’m looking for a computer guy who can run shows/sound and if you play keys or guitar that would be cool too… If you have friends that would want to join at some point, that might be cool and you could be in charge of everyone if you want, kind of like a tour manager (somewhere down the line I’ll probably look for other people to join either way). Also, if you have songs of your own, we can try to incorporate them into the show..
I have most of my songs tracked out/all parts are written (enough for a full show). I have other songs that need tracking so if you want to be more involved at some point, you can track songs.
Right now genres are crossing over in the music so it’s difficult to describe: commercial goth/industrial, pop, dance, electro.. In all honesty, can’t be fit neatly into any genres. I’ve heard anywhere from Portished, Massive Attack, Madonna, Imogen Heap (yuck/gag), Bahaus and it’s probably because I write so many different types of songs… but, usually people don’t compare my songs to other artists.. My ex said my music is what music will sound like in 200 years from now…
