03-26-12 – Albany, NY>New York City, NY – Hello,
Guitarist looking for keyboardist/pianist to compliment his wide array of musical styles. I’m currently putting the pieces of a band together with the intentions of recording a CD, and also performing live. (ie: gigs
I have a *small* 16 track studio, but have unlimited access to a semi-pro studio with all the bells and whistles.
What kind of keyboardist am I looking for? Actually, I don’t know specifically as I am currently delving into many genres from blues/jazz fusion to a bit of contemporary soul/R&B. But I’d have to say that the Baroque Classical style and a hybrid of Rock/Metal I have a lot of experience in.
Basically, whatever style you bring to the table, combined with mine… and we’ll see what comes of it! (kinda like you gotz yer peanut butter in my chocolate

05-14-11 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – I am a lover of Bach music, especially Cantatas and other vocal works. I am a pianist and composer, named Adrian.
Looking for 8 singers, 2 of each voice type (2 Basses, 2 Tenors, 2 Altos, and 2 Sopranos).
If you enjoy music of the Baroque and would like to participate in such a group for recording and performing to different occasions (yours, mine, or ours) then this is the right place to come.
This is not a paid gig, but it is paid in satisfaction of working and possibly performing/recording the music you love.
If you are looking to get paid, then this is probably not the right gig for you. I would not get paid either, but simply do this because I cannot live without this music.
I would be the accompanist/conductor/director/whatever is needed to any of the Bach cantatas we chose to work on.
If we are able to put together a group of 8-10 singers then we might be able to work on any of Bach’s cantatas or Masses. That being said, if you are an interested singer who also has singer friends, don’t hesitate to recommend them to this as well.
Please send a resume and head shot and let’s meet for an audition/rehearsals and get-to-knows. I do have a grand piano at my place for rehearsals.
Of course, this type of music, doesn’t make much money, as more and more people lose interest in the old masters (sadly enough), but nonetheless if you need to record some for some upcoming audition, for fun, for performance in your Church, etc…. it can serve many purposes, perhaps even money if we’re smart as a group and know how to go about it.
I was the director/conductor of a music organization in New York of this type called “The Agnus Dei Society” and we performed all of the Solos and Duets from the Mass in B minor, including the Choral movement “Crucifixus” and Cantata No. 4 “Christ Lag in Todesbanden” all in one concert. I had to move from New York back to Portland, but I very much miss that kind of ensemble (which included instrumentalists as well).
I’m proficient in recording software, thus if we need instrumentalists (when we are in lack of them) I could use software to emulate the missing parts, or just simply work on the piano, which provides more flexibility and sensitivity to timing.
Cheers to all who have gotten to the bottom of this posting, and if this sounds like something you’re interested, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
I apologize for not proof reading this posting, but I figure it is not necessary. You get the idea.
Looking forward to hear from you.
