Grateful Life Community Church is located at 207 Oakwood Ave and is attended by an average of 100 of Huntsville’s poorest and homeless citizens. Each Sunday, volunteers provide a full meal, including a sack lunch to go, over-the-counter meds, clothing, toiletries, and an inspirational worship service conducted by Pastor Sherry Birney.
The band receives no pay, but we are fortunate to be in an awesome, touching environment every Sunday.

03-07-12 – Phoenix, AZ>Las Vegas, NV – I am a bass guitarist with a degree in compsition in the process of forming a band. The band currently consist of myself on bass guitar, a drummer, and a fine singer/percussionist. We are just missing the right keyboard player. We are all serious musician, pro & semi-pro. I think we have good songs and good ideas for unique arrangements with the songs and with the instrumentation somewhat. This is a more rock/pop oriented group but jazz and/or improvistional skill would be required. Being comfortable with playing bass parts on the keys would be essential too. The music is mostly all original and does give room for each musician to personalize or develope their own approach on the songs. I know this opportunity will not appeal to many keyboardist out there but … If you are interested in hearing some songs of mine I have posted a link here where you can check-out some old recordings that would give you a general idea.
