Just a little background me and 4 of the members have been together since high school and two of them are brothers. My little brother was the drummer but we have always had problems with him so hes doing his own thing. We won over 8 competitions and are undefeated in any battle of the bands. 01-13-12 – Houston, TX>Dallas, TX – Seeking New Drummer.
My name is Travis, I am the guitarist and vocalist of the band Empirates. We are looking to start playing again after a brief hiatus. A short history, we formed in late 2009, won a few battle of the bands, and played a ton of shows. This past March we released a short 4 track EP called “Pretentiously Awesome,” which was picked up by nearly 100 college and community radio stations around the United States and a few in Canada. In April we set off on our first multi date tour, upon returning our drummer and bassist left the band. I moved back to the northwest in august and have since been working with a new bassist, and now need a drummer to complete the group. We are looking for a dedicated and driven individual with character, none of the other member of the band use drugs, and few drink. Our style is Americanized Brit-Rock: Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes.
