02-11-12 – Cleveland, OH>Detroit, MI – Hey everyone, I’m looking to start a britpop/ early punk inspired band, and I’m in search of drums. Would really like to write together, no egos! Would absolutely love to stay on the britpop side of things, but I have no problem with starting out punk and seeing where it goes. Influences are definitely important, but not critical and include The Jam, Oasis, The Who, The Clash, Buzzcocks, Paul Weller’s solo stuff, Beady Eye, The Beatles, Noel Gallagher, The Smiths, Johnny Marr, Supergrass, Starsailor, Doves, Pulp, English Beat, Madness and more! I have a few songs already, and have been in the Cleveland music scene for over 7 years. Contacts at local clubs, and would like to get this project going.
