03-20-11 – Phoenix, AZ>El Paso, TX – University of Arizona student short film seeking extras for a daytime shoot on Sunday, March 27 near the WIlmot-Broadway area. No previous acting experience necessary! The scene takes place at an anti-war rally in 1966, so we’ll need extras to come dressed in clothing appropriate to that era. The look we’re going for is less like “hippie” and more like “mid-1960s college student.” Here are a couple of wardrobe guidelines:
- NO tie-dyed clothing
- NO sneakers other than Converse All-Stars
- NO unnatural hair colors
- NO clothing with any sort of message, writing, logo, or picture.
- NO T-shirts
WOMEN:
Summer dresses are good, as are peacoat style jackets. For those willing to dress a little more formally, a Jackie Kennedy look is also appropriate (blouses, sweaters, skirts, etc). Closed-toed heels are typical for the era, as are sandals.
MEN:
Your best bet is a just pair of well-fitting jeans and a tucked-in collared button up shirt. Dress shoes and Birkenstock-style sandals are the safest footwear options.

01-11-11 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – We Need A Drummer.
Hey there Folks, so I guess it’s time I finished the Band line -up. It’s just me (Singer/Guitarist) and a Buddy (Leads) so far and that’s kinda been the way it is for years now. So now I figure it’s time to get out of the basement again. We have many songs written and ready to go, we just need to get the rest of the band over and get rehearsing. We are sitting on about 14 completed songs and an endless amount of almost done songs that could use some other input.
As far as what were looking for, well we’d like a solid drummer with an awesome sense of time and with the ability to let loose now and again. I’m a huge fan of Jimmy Chamberlin and Matt Carmeron and such. (Solid but flashy)
And as far as a Bassists go, we need someone who thinks about the song. Sometimes you’ll need to be playing little and sometimes you’ll need to be playing alot. (Roger Waters style)
We just want a couple easy going guys who can see what were going for and to compliment the songs with their good ideas and abilities so we can fill out the band and get to playing some shows
Your best bet would be to just check out our myspace site and listen to the tunes and figure out if you like what were doing first. The 3 tunes up there will be the demo. It’s still about a month away from being done but I want to rehearse something furious.
