01-05-11 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – Boston-based indie pop band This Blue Heaven () is seeking a new drummer for the new year!

We are pretty pleased to be a part of such a happening local music scene. We’ve regularly played the Middle East, TT the Bears, Great Scott, and the Lizard Lounge. We’ve also done some bigger shows at The Paradise and most recently performed in Boston’s First Night festivities. Some or all of our members have been involved in One Night Band, The Cover-Up series and the Mixtape series.

Beyond Boston, we’ve played clubs in New York (Arlene’s Grocery, Pianos, The Bitter End, Trash Bar in Brooklyn) and look to continue to build our following in that market. We’ve played all around New England as well (CT, RI, NH and ME).

As for you – all candidates should enjoy playing meticulously crafted pop tunes with energy, joy, and a keen sensitivity to dynamics.
