01-13-11 – Atlanta, GA>Birmingham, AL – I’m a 28 yr. old guitarist looking to form a band or join an existing band. I’m mainly looking for a singer to form a band with but I’m also looking for other like-minded musicians. I have a lot of band experience and some good connections. I’m looking for guys who are between the ages of 21-35, who share my influences, and are willing to work hard. I’m looking for guys who want to do more than just play some on the side as a hobby. I want guys who are passionate about music. I’m fine with mixing in some covers but I want to write originals. I’m not looking to play in a strictly cover band. The sound I’m going for is Texas country, roots rock, Americana sound. Some of my influences include Randy Rogers Band, Ryan Bingham, Wade Bowen, Eli Young Band, Keith Urban, Sean McConnell, Bleu Edmondson, Josh Abbott Band, Turnpike Troubadours, The Format, Dierks Bentley, Pat Green, Zac Brown Band, Jars of Clay, Gary Allan, etc. Basically I’d like to play music that emphases great lyrics and vocals, good melodies, and well-crafted songs. I have good equipment and I can also play bass. I’m a Christian and my faith is important to me. While I’d like to write and play songs about a lot of stuff, I would also like to be in a band where faith can come out some in the song writing as well.
