03-02-12 – Atlanta, GA>Columbia, SC – I write strange folk songs (an album’s worth ready) and have been performing them by myself on guitar and banjo (I also play pedal steel and mandolin but need someone to hold down the rhythm so I can play those) and would like to get more musicians involved. Influences include Bright Eyes, Bruce Springsteen, Sufjan Stevens, John Prine, Morrissey, Whiskeytown, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, etc…
I’m looking for folks who play any instruments but some of my best ideas for my music are violin, banjo, mandolin, cello, accordion, horns, winds, upright bass, anything really. Also, I definitely think a harmony vocal (female or male really) benefits my music.

Our present focus is preparing for The 2nd Annual Willamette Valley Gospel Explosion! in Oct., an upcoming recording session in Nashville, OR, and the subsequent CD to follow.
