Independent Short Film needs cast. I am the writer/director looking for interested folks to be a part of something special. This film will be made for film festivals distribution. Lead characters must be available all weekends of March 2012 and any meetings called before then, which should only be 1-2 at most. All filming will take place in the Murfreesboro, MTSU area. JAsper Ghram is, a successful African American divorce lawyer working in NYC. However when he first started practicing law , he work for the public defenders office . One day Jasper Ghram and his family begin to be stalked by a mysterious man . When he finds out the man, Holt Henderson, is a ex-con rapist hell bent on revenge for his imprisonment from when Jasper represented him as a public defender. Now Jasper must protect his wife, Fiona Ghram and teenage daughter,Debbie Ghram, at all cost .

Our goal is to shoot this as a hour long made for TV movie. We are looking for actors with VERY STRONG IMPROVISATIONAL ABILITY. We plan to shoot 3-4 days a week for 2-3 weeks. If you or someone you know has a vacation home location that we might use for a week or so, this is a definite plus.

Blaq Rose Theatre Troupe is in search of talented dedicated black actors for our upcoming production of the brilliantly written play ‘Wine in Wilderness’ by Alice Childress. It is a one-act play about the negative perception of black women among the African American community. This play degrades no one. It’s is a journey of enlightenment and empowerment.

This is not the ole run of the meal black play that was written yesterday, with the intent to make a mockery of our community through entertainment and buffoonery; this is real art.
