12-15-11 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – We are looking for some great dance teachers. Ballet and Jazz are filled. I still need Modern (Graham or Alexander would be a plus). I am also interested in Character Dance, Hip Hop, Chinese classical dance and any other dance style you teach. You must be a self starter and able to self promote yourself. You will be given the space to build your classes and can offer as many classes as you are able to fill that fit into the schedule. I will help to promote you, but ultimately it is up to you to build your classes and your following. There are 800 students coming through the building currently for sports and gymnastics. The dance program is new and growing. I am looking for top quality teachers. Rate of compensation starts at 40% of revenue from students up to 4 students. After that you will be paid an hourly rate starting at $25 and up, depending on experience level. Please have either professional performance background, extensive teaching experience, or a degree in dance, or certification from a major syllabus such as RAD, ISTD, Vaganova, etc. Hours/days are flexible depending on your availability and studio availability.
