Please reply to this post with a headshot and resume via email. Auditions are to be held on THUR 1 MAR 2012 in Tacoma , with call-backs on FRI 2 MAR2012.
Principal photography is expected to happen in the next 3 weeks. Schedule dependant on actor and crew availability.
For the principal role audition, please prepare a 2 minute contemporary monologue and be prepared for a cold reading from script.
This is a non-union, non-paid gig but we will be providing a workshop on military and action role acting for the actors selected. We have been providing military consulting in the film industry for 5 years and offer several classes for actors looking to expand their action role resume experience.

NOTES-
- Dance: Do not prepare a dance routine for the audition. You will be shown a short routine and asked to perform. We are primarily looking to see how you move.
- Reading: Do not prepare a monologue for the audition. You may be asked to do a cold reading.
- Headshot: Bring a headshot if you have one. If you don’t, we’ll take an audition photo.
- Rehearsals: generally Mon. through Thurs. evenings (7pm to 10pm), & Sun. 6pm – 9pm. Some Saturday rehearsals may also be scheduled. Not everyone needs to attend all rehearsals.
- Conflicts: You will have an opportunity at auditions to indicate your conflicts so please bring your personal calendar for April 22, 2012 through June 23, 2012.

03-07-12 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – A cascade of comedy and a solid hit on Broadway, this affair takes place inside an American embassy behind the Iron Curtain. An American tourist, a caterer by trade, and his wife and daughter rush into the embassy two steps ahead of the police who suspect them of spying and picture taking. It’s not much of a refuge, for the ambassador is absent and his son, now in charge, has been expelled from a dozen countries and the continent of Africa. Nevertheless, they carefully and frantically plot their escape, and the ambassador’s son and the caterer’s daughter even have time to fall in love.
Prepare a monologue (3 minutes maximum), Comedy preferred.

Please contact me for more information if interested.Please arrive at least five minutes before your appointment so you will have time to fill out the audition paperwork and have a headshot taken. The production team has selected monologues from the trial scene, which will be emailed to you with a confirmation of your audition appointment.
