02-01-12 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – A 55 member 510(3)c community choir is looking for an accomplished pianist/accompanist for rehearsals and performances. Monday evening rehearsals in Lapeer from 7-9 pm approximately 8 months/year.
Also will be a defacto member of the Board of Directors under our By-Laws and will be expected to attend once monthly meetings, usually one hour prior to rehearsals during concert seasons and one Monday/month off-season.
Performances include classical music (Brahms, Mozart, Handel,etc.), show tunes (Broadway, movie classics), Americana (America the Beautiful, God Bless the USA), and many other genres.
Concerts in December and May plus an occasional extra performance. Would like some improvisational skills, but not neccessary.
