01-22-12 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – We are a mostly Acoustic Americana /Alt Country band that includes an electric bass player who sings lead and harmonies, a percussionist with congas and a small drum kit who could not carry a tune in a bucket, a lead acoustic guitarist who could sing but won’t, 2 excellent female lead and harmony vocalists, and a lead/rhythm guitarist who also does lead and harmony vocals, and is our primary writer.
We are interested in expanding our sound with a second Lead/Rhythm Guitarist to allow ours to focus on vocals, plus a Dobro, Violin, Cello, and…(???) who can do tasty fills and leads that play well off the melodies for our originals and covers. We don’t sound like anyone else so we’re not trying to copy known bands, although if we had to describe our sound, Eagles meet CCR with a definite twist is close. We range in age from 32 to late 50′s.
We have been rehearsing for a couple of months, and right now we’re doing Monday and Tuesday evenings, and Sunday afternoons in the studio laying down tracks. Not everyone is there at every session, so there is time to work more players in.
We are looking for people who are clean and sober, works well with others, and would enjoy playing with a seriously fun group whose ambition is to record a quality CD of some really nice tunes, and play out a couple of times a month to promote it. We are less interested in clubs than wineries, coffee houses, festivals, and concert venues.
Please send enough info on yourself, including your experience and style. We have a scratch demo of the 12 songs we are recording that you can hear a sample of.

06-01-11 – Philadelphia, PA>New York City, NY – We’re a three piece band in search of a drummer to fill a permanent void and become a member of our band…our genre changes from song to song so to say we are this or that would be misleading…upon serious inquiry I will send demo recordings of our tunes….so you can hear for yourself…we need a drummer who can sit in the pocket..but will also be able to lead with brushes. or play bongos or congas and will be fine with just pumping a solid bass drum if that’s all the song calls for…there is no age limit but being over 21 and being able to drive is a plus. age is no matter but please be a mature musician, who can listen well and add another more rhythmic point of view to our songwriting process..by listening I mean musically… not to our demands or anything.. we want a democracy and a collaboration not just a hired gun/hamster on a wheel….We have a unique sound that just needs a solid drummers input to complete and once we find that person we’ll be hitting the ground running…we have gigs lined up in the coming months in the sussex county area so we will be keeping busy and we plan on booking more…we just need the final piece of the puzzle to fall into place because we are really on the verge of something great…right now we have an amazing singer/songwriter/rhythm guitarist… extremely gifted bassists/keyboardist and a lead guitarist…we make a lot of great noise for only three people…with a drummer there is no telling what we are capable of…if your interested please reply and we’ll be in touch as soon as possible…good luck to you all in your musical searches and hopefully — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: 1
