All teams get the same ‘Prop, Character Name & Line of Dialog’ that each team must used in each film.
Each team then pulls a genre out of a hat – and your off!
We’ll have 48 Hours to write, cast, shoot, edit and turn in a completed short film (less than 7 minutes)

This is a great way to get to know people in Las Vegas who are into filmmaking and want to work with you.

03-10-12 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – We are looking for a guitarist to play rhythm…as the music is Weill-esque, there’s a simple but all-important circus bounce which must be maintained for this musical style (think Wayne Newton’s “Danke Schoen” or the Beatles’ “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer”).
We’ve yet to create fully-produced records or music videos together…however, here are links to a couple of video shorts which give some sense of what we’re up to…they’re musical sequences from indie movies I’ve directed:
As this band is theatrically oriented, I direct it like theatre…and although I’ll want to showcase the particular strengths of the musicians I work with, I should note that I’m not looking for song-writing collaborators…I have too much material of my own which I’m eager to unpack. That said, it’s ensemble-driven in presentation, allowing the opportunity for the performers to be as wild or as subdued onstage as they always wanted to be when dreaming of show-biz, as children.
